Alba tv standby light flashing

Most often the reason why some appliances like your TV set failed to turn on and only standby light keep flashing when it is plug to the mai . Mine does this if it`s been left on all night having fallen asleep. The TV turns itself off having been inactive and the red LED blinks. I was watching the TV , suddenly the screen goes blank though the power lite is still on.


The horizontal light under the circle at the bottom left corner of the TV is flashing red and blue.

The guy said the motherboard or so was damaged and needs replacement.

The problem is that it just stays on standby and wont turn on. Television fails to come on the front standby light fails to illuminate or repeatedly flashes on and off. All televisions are likely to suffer this fault but in particular Hitachi, Toshiba, Bush, JVC, Sanyo, Xenius, Alba and ISIS.

My new TV keeps turning itself off after two hours of it being on. The AUTO STANDBY function may have been activated. In order to disable the setting you will need to do the following:- Press the MENU button of the TV remote.


Scroll down to SETUP and press OK.
