The line lockterminal aHows you to lock the front wheel brakes without back-feeding and locking the trans brake during burn-outs. When wired in series with your nitrous system relay it will enable you. This is the TCI Powerglide trans-brake. Ignition key off, remove key from ignition. Locate the vehicle ECU (under the hoo near the front passenger side of the vehicle). Disconnect the TOP ECU Connector.
Note: Move the grey lever to release the connector . I also have another video that may also help, just search my other videos. LED comes on when the button is pushe the transbrake wires or the transbrake solenoid is possibly shorted. The red LED will flash on and off if voltage to the transbrake is below 11.
The yellow LED turns on any time that the pushbutton is pushed. Drain transmission oil by removing the back pan bolts and work towards the front slowly. Remove the three filter bolts and valve body attaching bolts and remove the valve body by pulling straight down. There are two different length valve body bolts.
When doing this, you should have the power off in your car and also disconnect your transbrake wires from your button. Wiring your nitrous kit has NEVER been so easy or fast! Simply connect your battery positive and negative to the boar connect you 12volt power from your throttle switch or manual nitrous button, connect you transbrake or clutch 12volt signal for nitrous safety so that your nitrous will not come on it your on your transbrake .
